Hemp Vs. Marijuana

One big misconception in the cannabis world is that both marijuana and hemp are two different kinds of plants, but they actually are two big names for the cannabis plant that’s there. Both of these come from cannabis sativa, but the hemp is made with materials and processes that have a bit more fiber and stalk to them. marijuana is used for therapeutic and recreational reasons, and higher levels of cannabinoids, and they usually are sub variants of the cannabis sativa types.

The major difference between these is the law and how it regards these. Hemp has less than .3% THC within this, so it’s legal in the US, but marijuana is not legal everywhere in the US.

What hemp is

Hemp is basically a different variant than marijuana, and is cultivated specifically for both the fibers, and the seeds, as both the food sources, and the production materials that are there.

Hemp is incredibly versatile, and it offers different materials and foods. The fibers create textiles, clothes, and even different materials for ropes, papers, and supplies for buildings that are there. farmers use this inside the stalks, and it can be used to even make materials for bedding. The thick kinds of materials also have other uses.

There is also CBD which comes from this, and it’s seen as legal, and there is also hemp oil, which is utilized in cooking.

CBD oil does offer a lot of benefits, such as being anti-inflammatory, and it offers neuroprotective variants, and this is something that also does derive directly from the hemp too, so it’s worth checking and trying out as well, as much as you can.

Hemp seed and the oil do have some value, but they differ from regular CBD oil. If you’re looking to get the benefits that you would from CBD, it’s better to get something from the marijuana plants, rather than the hemp plants, as this is something that doesn’t have a ton of the different varieties of what the labels have.

What about Marijuana

This is something that’s cultivated specifically for the flower, and the trichomes that are in there. Those who breed these plants may select different strains based on the content, the terpenes, and other various cannabinoids. There are also other variants too, that offer a ton of therapeutic benefits.

It works directly with the ECS, to help with different problems in the body.

There are various applications, including anxiety, autism, inflammatory conditions, even cannabis treatment too, so you’ll want to definitely look at this.

Right now, we don’t know the full benefits of marijuana, as this is something that’s struggling to get the variety of benefits due to the legal state that it has. However, it can help with various health problems, soothe anxiety, and also relieve pain that’s chronic.

Some of the drawbacks do include anxiety, paranoia, feeling tired, feeling cold, or even hot and sweaty, the munchies, sometimes loss of self, memory issues, and also even dry or cottonmouth.

The best thing to decide which one is best for you is to look at the different varieties of plants that you have. If you live in a place where marijuana is legal, and you want to try to use this, then definitely consider this, for it’s something that can help you.

If you want to use hemp, you’re better off using this as a material to help with cooking, and also for improving the different aspects of this. You may also want to look at potentially using CBD, especially if you’re not used to THC or can’t access it.

Can CBD Reduce Fevers

Some people look for the newest ways to help with reducing some of the pain that they’re going through. There are a few who have turned to CBD but does it work for reducing fever? It can. CBD is something that works naturally within the cannabis plant and has been used for thousands of years as a type of alternative medicine. While it does reduce fevers, it can help only a little bit with others. It depends on the type of fever that’s there.

The Cause of Fevers

This is usually due to the immune system overreacting, especially when it comes to viruses and bacteria, especially in the case of a cold and whatnot.  If the body temperature goes over 100.5 degrees, that’s a chance for a fever to develop.

This is because it’s hard for the viruses and the bacteria to reproduce due to the heat, which is why the immune system triggers this.

The Evidence

There is a chance that it could work to reduce fevers that are the result of arthritis, autoimmune conditions, and allergies, especially if a fever is used to help fight off the reaction. The body uses this to basically fight off different stuff that seemingly doesn’t exist, and it can make the body ache, create stuffy noses, and also a sore throat and fevers too.

For autoimmune conditions, CBD actually does work to help with reading the fevers that are there, but they’re the result of basically inflammation in the body, and it directly doesn’t touch the fever, but it works as a way to naturally suppress the immune system, lower the inflammation, reduce the chronic pain that’s there.

Is there any evidence that that’s against this?

Right now, the animal studies that have been found is that for an actual fever that’s used for treating colds, it doesn’t really work, and the same goes for bacterial infections, as this is usually not something you want to suppress if it does happen. When you suppress the immune system against a bacterial infection, it makes their job so much harder, and it can make the illness last a whole lot longer.

Should I use It?

Right now, it’s not going to possibly harm you if you do choose to use it. It won’t reduce the fivers directly, but for those with chronic high fevers, it’ll benefit them.

It reduces the inflammation that’s there, controls the immune system, and protects your brain from the damage from fevers. It also does help with preventing certain viruses from possibly replicating too.

CBD also works with inhibiting the cytokines that cause inflammation, and usually, this can also reduce the possibility of inflammation there, so it might help with fevers that are directly related to this.

Sometimes, CBD also might help with preventing seizures that happen due to high fevers that occur in the body. it’s not a natural fever reducer, but it’s got a ton of neuroprotective elements to it that work.

It also is great for relaxing too, as it can help with resting, allowing you to overcome the infections that are there, and can make you feel a bit more comfortable too, something that you should definitely look at, especially if you’re choosing to use it as a way to naturally reduce the fevers that are there.

It can help, and some people have gotten a lot of benefits from using this. But it will not directly help with fevers due to bacterial infections, but those infections from autoimmune conditions do benefit over time, so it’s worth checking out too.
